Did you now that Joomla is a new Mambo.  The name Joomla was created because the owners off mambo, a company in Australia (Miro), wanted just like other businesses with open source put the program rights in a foundation. Not anything strange with that, but don't forget to mention the developers of this fact. Those who are always making the program better and keep it working want to now what is happening.

This people keep the program alive.Because Miro didn't tell anything to the developers, they choose to move away from mambo and go on under a new name. Joomla was born.

There it is, joomla and mambo are the same and are going to be different in the near future.At this moment Joomla seems to have most developers on board. Mambo is also still developing. We have chosen for Joomla at this site, but we are monitoring Mambo at an other site  http://www.robusoft.net and we will see what will happen in the future.
